2023 - PresentBattleClaws is an arcade-style party game involving players working against the clock and each other to gather as many collectibles as possible.
Since being part of the original prototype's development in 2023, my main role on the team since is leading QA and bugtracking, mostly through the use of Jira. As a very small indie team, most team members were also involved in the design process, where playtesters such as myself could offer insights into potential gameplay solutions or ways to keep players engaged. I also assisted in analysing feedback from players and advising on playtester questionaires to help obtain the most helpful data.
I also had a hand in some 3D dev and technical art, making sure game assets were implemented correctly and finding solutions for the form factor of the lobby and main playable areas.
Other team duties included appearances at conventions, running live demos with convention guests and keeping things running smoothly on-the-fly (you can read about those event appearances on my blog).
